What kind of wines do you make?

We make grape wine, honey wine and non-alcoholic wine! There is something for everyone at Ve Oh Lay.

Do I need a reservation for a tasting?

We welcome walk-ins! For larger groups (6+) we recommend booking ahead to ensure the best experience.

Do you serve food?

Yes – Our kitchen is open during our winery hours and this year is operated from Bread & Cheese

Are you wines sweet?

Not all! While honey wines can be sweet, we produce a range of styles from dry, crisp chardonnays and rich, bold red blends. There is something for everyone here.

Can I bring my own food or picnic?

Probably not – outside food policies may vary. Please check with us if it’s a dietary restriction but our kitchen serves up a variety of delicious food on site during business hours.

Can I book private events or parties?

Yes – private bookings are available. For celebrations, corporate events and special occasions, reach out to us for details and availability.

Do you host weddings?

Usually not – not because we don’t have great space but we have a certain kind of space. Depending on your wedding requirements, we can chat!

Do you rent out your space?

Yes we do! If you would like to book out Ve Oh Lay for your event, we have a

Half Day Rate of $2500.00 / 4 hours

Full Day Rate / 8 hours $5000.00

No events may go past 11pm

Are you kid friendly?

Yes – while we allow kids to come to the winery, some events are strictly 19+ and it’s always ‘bring at your own risk’. We still are adult orientated, consuming alcohol.

What are your hours?

We are open from May Long Weekend to September Long Weekend.

We never open the Holiday Mondays.

Thursday to Saturday 11am – 5pm

Sunday 11am – 4pm

Can I bring my own drinks?

No outside liquor is permitted on the property.

What kind of wine classes do you offer?

We offer a variety of wine classes that focus on not only our wines but also BC wines and wines from around the world. We believe in wine education more important than anything! Join one of our qualified instructors for a night of fun, entertainment and education!
