Our Land
A young couple with a dream: to make wine we love and share it with the world. Purchasing 11 acres off Bottle Neck Drive, it was a great foundation for the winery. What started as a small-time hobby quickly turned into a passion for making wine. We are committed to producing good quality wines made with love (and a little bit of sarcasm) while maintaining a family-friendly environment where people can come and enjoy themselves.
Here we maintain an apple orchard, vineyard, greenhouses, beehives and a petting farm with hopes of expanding in the future.
Our Vineyard
The views here are nothing short of spectacular. Tucked away on the sloping hillside of our historic apple orchard, you will find a 2-acre vineyard. Vines here are grown with sandy soils and clay-based rock sublayers that give them a unique quality with gorgeous views of Giant’s Head Mountain, a dormant volcano here in Summerland.
Planted just this year (2022) you can expect varieties that aren’t found anywhere else around these parts – just wait until they’re ready for harvest and see what kind of wine we will be producing!
Our Orchard
Located on the west side of the valley, in the middle of the property, we have a high-density apple orchard planted. these trees were planted over 28 years ago! Ambrosia apples – known in Greek mythology as “food of the gods” was actually found right here in BC! Discovered in an orchard in the Similkameen Valley, we are happy to grow one of BC’s own fruits! Make sure you stop for a walk through the apple orchard after your wine tasting, come for a U Pick in September or grab some fresh apples for our tasting shop!
Our Animals
A farm full of animals, running through the countryside. Starting with a single pair of goats, we’ve slowly accumulated over 150 farm animals. Raising our own eggs, chicken and meat has been so rewarding. All animals get to free range over the 11 acres, at any time you can catch the sheep in the fields, pigs digging up dirt for food and chickens everywhere. We run a petting farm that is open from March – October when the tasting room is open. It’s available for special events & birthday parties and does its own events throughout the year. In our tasting room, you will find fresh farm eggs, produce, chicken and meats available for purchase.
